Just wanted to direct your attention to this article:
...Too much attention on triviality distracts us from critical decisions...
so:
2% of a disgusting spending bill is 'triviality'
1/10 of a percent of a bailout is cause for outrage...
hmmm.
I know I'm poking fun here. Some may say there's an obvious difference...
I say there's no difference at all: Squandering 2% of a sum acquired by generational theft from American citizens is just as outrageous to me as 1/10 of a percent of a different sum acquired by generational theft from American citizens. Because, you see, it's all 100% disgusting, 100% criminal, 100% outrageous.
UPDATE: Guess I'm not the only one who notices the Outrage discrepancy. Deeper detail there, too.
